Modern slavery: Advertising

Lena Vurdalakina drinks cola, smokes marlboro, chews a stimorol and eats hamburgers at McDonald’s in three throats. She always smells Dolce & Gabbana, and Lena carries her iPhone in a Louis Vuitton bag. At the same time, Lena is sure that the advertisement doesn’t act on her, and a sick stomach and an empty wallet are her own choice.

Predatory snouts from television screens support Lena in her naive delusion: “You are a free man, Lenochka, you are a clever and beautiful woman, you always completely voluntarily and independently choose which of us you meekly attribute your next salary.”
